This series aims at exploring and evaluating the various aspects of biblical traditions as studied, understood, taught, and lived in the Christian communities that spoke and wrote – and some continue speaking and writing – in the Aramaic, Arabic, Armenian, Coptic, Georgian, Romanian, Syriac, and other languages of the Orthodox family of churches. Institutionelle und Sozial-Ökonomie / Institutional and Socio-Economics

"In the "Institutional and Socio-Economics" book series, the economy is studied as a genuinely social system of heterogeneous agents in an institutional context. The series includes a broad range of different methodological approaches, theoretical perspectives and subjects of study. Interdependencies among agents in complex social systems can be studied using evolutionary economic models, as well as institutional economic and simulation studies. Hence, the focus is being laid on approaches that are more explorative than the standard equilibrium analysis; on approaches that allow for complexity; on approaches that consider development, history, institutions, and values. Thus, we may conclude that institutions are more than just devices for the reduction of transaction costs. From an institutionalist perspective, institutions are the common and collective solutions to social decision problems, particularly social dilemma problems, coordination problems, and collective-good problems. Such solutions require ‘recognized interdependence’ and learned coordination and cooperation, thus a learned culture of a long-run perspective – emerging as the result of a process of interactions. Institutions often are transitory only, part of the ongoing dynamics, adequately modeled possibly as an evolutionary process. Also, they may be instrumental solutions to a social decision problem at first and may degenerate into ceremonial power-and-status-based phenomena later, thus limiting the possibility of further innovation and development. In a genealogy of economics, the thematic and methodological spectrum of this book series would embrace the history of thought beginning with the classics including great names such as Adam Smith and Karl Marx but also the late classics who already have struggled with issues like complexity, process, historical time, and evolution. In newer times, the spectrum continues with Veblenian, Keynesian, and Post-Keynesian thinking; it would also include works in the traditions of original institutionalist economics, ecological economics, Neo-Schumpeterian thinking, evolutionary economics, and game theory. Social economics and social policy analysis, behavioral economics, complex modeling, system dynamics, and agent-based computational economics would be embraced as well. Such lists, however, can never be exhaustive. Last not least, institutional and socio-economics deals with the epistemology and substance of values, norms and ethics, value warrants of economic behavior as well as the normative foundations of economics. This series, thus, stands in the best traditions of plural economic research areas and pluralistic theoretical perspectives. In a genealogy of economics, the thematic and methodological spectrum of this book series would embrace the history of thought beginning with the classics including great names such as Adam Smith and Karl Marx but also the late classics who already have struggled with issues like complexity, process, historical time, and evolution. In newer times, the spectrum continues with Veblenian, Keynesian, and Post-Keynesian thinking; it would also include works in the traditions of original institutionalist economics, ecological economics, Neo-Schumpeterian thinking, evolutionary economics, and game theory. Social economics and social policy analysis, behavioral economics, complex modeling, system dynamics, and agent-based computational economics would be embraced as well. Such lists, however, can never be exhaustive. Last not least, institutional and socio-economics deals with the epistemology and substance of values, norms and ethics, value warrants of economic behavior as well as the normative foundations of economics. Theodor-Geiger-Gesamtausgabe (TGG)

"Theodor Geiger (1891–1952) zählt zu den Klassikern der Soziologie. Ursprünglich aus Deutschland stammend, wo er von 1928 an an der Technischen Hochschule Braunschweig als erster Professor für Soziologie lehrte, floh er nach Dänemark, weil er vom Nazi-Regime im Herbst 1933 wegen «nationaler Unzuverlässigkeit» entlassen wurde. Dort wurde er 1938 zum landesweit ersten Professor für Soziologie an der Universität Aarhus berufen. In Deutschland gilt Geiger als Begründer der Schichtungssoziologie als empirischer Gesellschaftswissenschaft. In seinen vielfältigen Werken in Dänemark vereinigte er systematische deutsche soziologische Tradition mit skandinavischer Rechtstradition und hat damit die dänischen und schwedischen Gesellschaftswissenschaften entscheidend geprägt. Die Edition der Theodor-Geiger-Gesamtausgabe begann im Jahre 2002. 31 Bände in 7 Abteilungen sowie ein zusätzlicher Registerband sind geplant. 6 Bände sind bereits erschienen; ein weiterer Band ist für Ende 2014 vorgesehen, die nächsten Bände folgen voraussichtlich im Herbst 2015 und im Herbst 2016. Theodor Geiger (1891–1962) is regarded as one of the classical authors of sociology. Originally from Germany, where he was first professor of sociology at the College of Science and Technology Brunswick from 1928 forth, he took refuge at Denmark in autumn 1933 because he was displaced on account of «nationally undesirable» by the NS-regime. Here he became the nation’s first professor of sociology at the University of Aarhus. In Germany Geiger is considered a founder of sociology of social classes as empirical social science. In his various works in Denmark he systematically united German sociological tradition with Scandinavian legal tradition. Thus he shaped Danish and Swedish social sciences decisively. The edition of Theodor Geiger’s complete works began in 2002. 31 Volumes in 7 domains of science are planned plus an additional index. 6 volumes have already been published. Another volume is planned for the end of 2014, the next volumes are expected to follow in fall 2015 and in fall 2016. "

Beiträge zur Literatur- und Mediendidaktik

Die 2001 von Bodo Lecke begründete und von Christian Dawidowski und Irene Pieper herausgegebene Buchreihe versammelt aktuelle Beiträge zur Literatur- und Mediendidaktik in Form von Monographien oder Sammelbänden. Schwerpunkte liegen in der didaktischen Theoriebildung, der Vorstellung und Diskussion empirischer Untersuchungen und dem interkulturellen und transkulturellen Literatur- und Medienunterricht. Die Reihe versteht sich auch als Forum für Arbeiten, die der intermedialen Verbindung bzw. Integration von fachunterrichtlich orientierter Literaturdidaktik und fachübergreifender Medienpädagogik und Medienerziehung gelten. Darüber hinaus finden fachgeschichtlich gewachsene Traditionen Berücksichtigung.

Sprache in der Gesellschaft

Das sprachliche Universum ist äußerst facettenreich und ausdifferenziert. Sprache, so zeigt die moderne Linguistik, zerfällt in die Sprachen einzelner Gruppen und Medien, geprägt von Tradition und Innovation, von Handlungsfeldern und Weltanschauungen. Sprache signalisiert, was als Wirklichkeit erfahren wird, wie man diese beschreibt und ordnet, um sich und andere zu orientieren. Die Reihe Sprache in der Gesellschaft hat das Ziel, Bedingungen sprachlichen Handelns in unterschiedlichen Kommunikationssphären und Praxisfeldern zu beleuchten – auch um gesellschaftlich relevantes Wissen auf hohem fachlichen Niveau anzubieten. Es gilt, das Geflecht der sprachlichen Normen und Regeln zu erforschen, die eine soziale Wirklichkeit erzeugen, stabilisieren oder verändern. Diese Normen und Regeln zeigen sich in der Analyse von Situationen und Gattungen; sie werden bei der Erforschung von kommunikativen Strategien offenbar; und sie ergeben sich aus den Zwängen des jeweiligen Mediums (Zeitung, Radio, Fernsehen, Netzmedien). Die einzelnen in dieser Reihe veröffentlichten Arbeiten analysieren – primär auf linguistischer Grundlage, jedoch mit einem programmatischen Interesse an der Verbindung von Sprach- und Medienwissenschaft auf dem Weg zu einer interdisziplinären Medienforschung – ergiebige Schnittstellen und Spannungsfelder der mündlichen und schriftlichen Kommunikation: zwischen Wissenschaft und Anwendung, Öffentlichkeit und Privatheit, Norm und Variation. Belgien im Fokus

In dieser Reihe geht es um ein Land, das seit seiner Gründung 1830/31 eine beispielhafte Entwicklung weg vom ursprünglichen Zentralstaat durchlaufen hat. Belgien hat sich aus eigenem Antrieb eine radikal dezentralisierte Staatsform gegeben und steht mit seiner Geschichte zwischen den großen europäischen Staaten. Diese Wandlung ist von Bedeutung für neue Entwicklungen im vereinten Europa, wo es in größerem Maßstab um das Miteinander unterschiedlicher historischer und kultureller Traditionen geht. Im "Laboratorium Europas", in dem Konvivialität lange den "belgischen Kompromiss" herbeizuführen vermochte, ist die Fähigkeit zum Konsens derzeit fast überdehnt. Belgien hat sich stets als Mittler in der Mitte Europas verstanden. Es erscheint daher grundlegend, uns mit diesem Raum der Begegnungen und des Austauschs zwischen der 'romanischen' und der 'germanischen' Kultur auseinanderzusetzen. Studien und Dokumente zur Tanzwissenschaft

Homepage: Deutsches Tanzarchiv Köln Publikationen über den Tanz haben eine lange Tradition in Deutschland, wie beispielsweise der Tantzteuffel von Florian Daul, Frankfurt am Main 1569, oder die Dissertation De saltatione Christiano licita, ob einem Christen zu tantzen erlaubet sey? von Justus Statius (Rostock 1704) belegen. Auch heute entstehen laufend wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen und Veröffentlichungen zum Tanz, doch ist die Tanzwissenschaft in Deutschland durch die vielfältigen Bezüge des Tanzes zu den verschiedensten Fachgebieten und universitären Disziplinen bisher nicht geschlossen als solche sichtbar. Parallel zur Einrichtung einer Professur für Tanzwissenschaft in Köln wurde daher die Reihe Studien und Dokumente zur Tanzwissenschaft am Deutschen Tanzarchiv Köln begründet, um sowohl Quellen wie Ergebnisse der Forschung in unmittelbarer Nähe zu konzentrieren. Offen für alle Arten und Aspekte des Tanzes, will die Reihe insbesondere Dissertationen und dokumentarischen Arbeiten zur Tanzforschung als ein Forum zur Veröffentlichung dienen und die Tanzwissenschaft durch ein gemeinsames Erscheinungsbild stärken.

Seit 1991 erscheint MORGEN-GLANTZ als Zeitschrift der Christian Knorr von Rosenroth-Gesellschaft einmal im Jahr mit einem Umfang zwischen 250-300 S. Sie veröffentlicht die Vorträge, die bei der jährlichen Tagung der Gesellschaft in Sulzbach-Rosenberg gehalten werden. Darüber hinaus versteht sich MORGEN-GLANTZ als Zeitschrift für die deutsche Barockkultur und allgemein für die Literatur der frühen Neuzeit. Da der Dichter, Theosoph, Hebraist und Übersetzer Christian Knorr von Rosenroth (1636-1689) als Universalgelehrter und Geheimrat des oberpfälzischen Fürsten Karl August zu Sulzbach eine über die Grenzen hinausschauende Bildungsvorstellung vertrat und sich sowohl für die Überwindung der konfessionellen Auseinandersetzungen unter Christen als auch für die jüdische Bevölkerung einsetzte und deren kabbalistische Tradition zugänglich machte, gehören zum Themenkreis der Zeitschrift auch Theologie, Geschichte der Naturwissenschaften, Kirchenmusik, deutsche Judaica, Übersetzungsfragen sowie Komparatistik und nationale Imagologie im europäischen Rahmen. Miszellen und Rezensionen informieren regelmässig über die neueste Forschungsliteratur.

Die Reihe hat zum Ziel, Arbeiten zur Sprache und Kommunikation in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern unter einem publizistischen Dach zu vereinen und die bislang disparate Forschung auf diesem Gebiet erstmals und langfristig zusammenzuführen. Die linguistische Erforschung der Sprache(n) in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern hat eine bis in das 19. Jahrhundert (und darüber hinaus) zurückreichende Tradition, wobei der Fokus lange auf den historischen mittelniederdeutschen Sprachformen sowie den basisdialektalen Varietäten, d.h. den traditionellen mecklenburgischen und pommerschen Dialekten lag. Im Kontext der neueren Dialektologie und Regionalsprachenforschung lässt sich für die letzten Jahre ein vermehrtes wissenschaftliches Interesse auch an der rezenten Regionalsprache beobachten, deren Strukturierung, Differenzierung, Entwicklung und Verwendung analysiert wird. Bulgarien-Jahrbuch

Die Reihe Bulgarien-Jahrbuch wird von der Deutsch-Bulgarischen Gesellschaft zur Förderung der Beziehungen zwischen Deutschland und Bulgarien e.V. seit 1997 herausgegeben. Ab 2017 erscheint sie unter dem Titel „BULGARICA". Die Thematik der Beiträge ist vor allem auf den Austausch zwischen der bulgarischen und der deutschen Wissenschaft in einem breit angelegten Spektrum gerichtet: Geschichte und Kulturgeschichte, Archäologie, bulgarische Sprache und Literatur, Translationslinguistik, Geographie und Umweltschutz, Theologie, Musik, Kunst und Naturwissenschaften. Dem deutschen Leserkreis wird durch diese aufschlussreichen Publikationen ein EU-Mitgliedsstaat in Südosteuropa näher gebracht, der sowohl reiche historische Traditionen aufweist, als auch der heutigen Wissenschaft und Forschung ein hohes Potenzial bietet.

As indicated by its name, this series is devoted to the interpretation of ancient Greek and Latin texts. It accommodates not only studies of special subjects and individual authors, but also annotated editions as well as commentaries. In the tradition of critical scholarship the collection is uncompromisingly philological without however excluding new approaches and methods of exegesis. Each of the volumes represents independent and original research which contributes to the understanding of ancient texts whether in the form of critical exposition or the investigation of specific problems. It is in this sense that they genuinely further the discipline of classical philology. At the same time the series welcomes studies of the reception and influence of ancient texts including in particular the history of their transmission as well as the historical development of philology in its various aspects. In order to reach as wide a readership as possible, publication is restricted to works written in those languages most commonly in use in classical scholarship. Special importance is attached to clear presentation and a choice of language that can be readily understood. Authors are moreover encouraged to provide translations wherever they would aid comprehension. Ultimately Sapheneia should not only advance classical studies,but also deepen our understanding of the intellectual tradition of the western world. The series explores issues in theoretical and applied linguistics, psycholinguistics, psychology of language and translation studies.
