Poznań Studies in Applied Linguistics / Posener Beiträge zur Angewandten Linguistik

The series Posener Beiträge zur Angewandten Linguistik was established in 2011 by Prof. Waldemar Pfeiffer and, until 2018, has been co-edited by Prof. Waldemar Pfeiffer and Prof. Camilla Badstübner-Kizik. From 2019 on, Prof. Maciej Karpiński is co-editing the series under the new title Poznan Studies in Applied Linguistics / Posener Beiträge zur Angewandten Linguistik. The series has been established in order to disseminate research by publishing monographs and edited collections of texts from the broad field of Applied Linguistics. The thematic range of books includes foreign language teaching, multilingualism, translation studies, linguistic aspects of culture, intercultural communication and mediation, multimodal communication, applications of spoken and written language resources and technology, application-oriented studies in psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics and pragmalinguistics. The series is intended to reflect and promote new trends in the applications of linguistic knowledge. We encourage contributions from young researchers and interdisciplinary studies, texts presenting new empirical research as well as new theoretical approaches. Die Reihe Posener Beiträge zur Angewandten Linguistik wurde 2011 von Prof. Waldemar Pfeiffer begründet und bis 2018 von ihm in Zusammenarbeit mit Prof. Camilla Badstübner-Kizik herausgegeben. Seit 2019 ist Prof. Maciej Karpiński als Mitherausgeber tätig, der Titel wurde erweitert in Poznań Studies in Applied Linguistics / Posener Beiträge zur Angewandten Linguistik. Die Reihe setzt sich das Ziel, Monographien, thematische Sammel- und Konferenzbände aus dem weit verstandenen Gebiet der Angewandten Linguistik einer internationalen wissenschaftlichen Diskussion zugänglich zu machen. Die thematische Spannweite umfasst innovative Arbeiten aus den Bereichen Fremdsprachendidaktik, Mehrsprachigkeitsforschung und Translationswissenschaften sowie Forschungen zu linguistischen Aspekten von Literatur-, Medien- und Kulturwissenschaften, Interkulturalität und Mediation, multimodaler Kommunikation, schriftlicher wie mündlicher Sprachlichkeit und Sprachtechnologie. Eingeschlossen sind anwendungsorientierte Forschungen in den Bereichen der Psycho-, Sozio- und Pragmalinguistik. Bevorzugt publiziert werden sowohl empirisch gestützte wie auch theorieorientierte Arbeiten jüngerer Autorinnen und Autoren, die inter- und transdisziplinäre Ansätze verfolgen und innovative Forschungsimpulse setzen. Leeds Studies on Dante
The book series Leeds Studies on Dante is a collaboration between Peter Lang Oxford and the Leeds Centre for Dante Studies. Based at the University of Leeds, the Centre promotes the study of Dante from a variety of disciplinary and methodological perspectives, through support for individual and collaborative research and through work with students at all levels and with a broader public. In support of this remit, the series will publish innovative new research of the highest quality on any aspect of Dante studies. It is open to a wide range of different methodologies, including comparative and interdisciplinary approaches, studies of Dante's reception from the Middle Ages to the present, and research which engages with the poet's broader cultural context, as well as analysis of Dante's works. Proposals are welcomed for monographs or collections of essays in either English or Italian. Editions, commentaries and translations of exceptional scholarly value will also be considered. Potential contributors should send a detailed outline of their proposed volume, including a statement of the aims and remit of the volume and the critical methodology adopted, a chapter breakdown, and a sample chapter. In the case of edited volumes, editors are asked to send a paragraph outlining the cohesiveness of the volume and the rationale for the collection of essays. Complete manuscripts should not be sent unless invited. The series is supported by an international advisory board, including Zygmunt G. Barański (University of Notre Dame), Simon Gilson (University of Warwick), Sona Haroutyunian (Ca' Foscari University of Venice), Kristina Landa (University of Bologna), Ronald Martinez (Brown University), Christine Ott (Goethe University), Sangjin Park (Busan University of Foreign Studies), and Lucia Battaglia Ricci (University of Pisa). Kontrastive Linguistik / Linguistica contrastiva
Ziel der Reihe ist es, Monographien und Sammelbände zur kontrastiven Sprachwissenschaft unter einem Dach zu vereinen. Im Bereich der Monographien ist dabei sowohl an Überblicksdarstellungen und Detailstudien als auch an Qualifikationsschriften (ab Dissertation bzw. tesi di dottorato) zu denken. Die Themen können aus den Bereichen Lexikologie und Semantik, Lexikographie, Phonologie, Grammatik, Pragmalinguistik, Textlinguistik, Diskursanalyse und Übersetzungswissenschaft stammen. Sie sollen methodisch und theoretisch und/oder empirisch sprachvergleichend ausgerichtet sein. Bei den zu untersuchenden Sprachen muss entweder Deutsch oder Italienisch eine der Vergleichsbasen sein. Arbeiten zu Deutsch und Italienisch sind ebenfalls sehr willkommen. Weitere Vergleichssprachen sind andere romanische Sprachen und das Englische. Die Anzahl der beteiligten Sprachen ist dabei nicht auf zwei begrenzt. La collana ospita pubblicazioni monografiche e miscellanee dedicate alla linguistica contrastiva. Come monografie possono essere pubblicati compendi e manuali di linguistica contrastiva, studi su temi specifici, tesi di dottorato (Dissertation) e di Habilitation. Gli ambiti tematici previsti sono: lessicologia e semantica, lessicografia, fonologia, grammatica, linguistica pragmatica, testuale e conversazionale, traduttologia. Le ricerche devono essere riconducibili a approcci metodologici, teorici ed empirici di stampo contrastivo. Lingue di contrasto potranno essere il tedesco o litaliano. Altre lingue oggetto di studio su base contrastiva possono essere le lingue romanze e linglese. Altrettanto graditi saranno studi su italiano e tedesco e ricerche che tengano conto di più lingue.
