  • Non-Prolifération et Sécurité / Non-Proliferation and Security

The aim of this book series is to study the various aspects of risk linked to human activities. Scientific and technological development is changing our society fundamentally and the concept of risk is crucial for the analysis of the ongoing social transformation process. Progress in genetic engineering and the use of military technology by civilians, for instance, raise questions concerning ethical, political, environmental and public-health issues. This series, therefore, opts for a multidisciplinary approach to the problem of risk, which involves the scientific community as much as the political world and civil society. It publishes monographs and collected papers, mainly in French or English. • Studies in Literature, Culture, and the Environment / Studien zu Literatur, Kultur und Umwelt

    ISSN: 2365-645X

This interdisciplinary and international book series aims to bring together current approaches in the environmental humanities (particularly in the fields of ecocriticism, environmental history, and environmental justice), with a focus on European contexts. It comprises thematic and theoretical studies which engage ecological issues, climate change, and the discourse of the Anthropocene, seeking to understand the forms of their representation across different media, cultures, and historical periods. „Studies in Literature, Culture, and the Environment" aim to connect the environmental humanities to the social and natural sciences and thus to contribute to the remediation of ecological problems. The series comprises monographs and edited volumes in both German and English. All publications will be peer reviewed. Book proposals are welcome and may be submitted to the editors. • Studien zur interkulturellen Geschichte des Christentums / Etudes d'histoire interculturelle du christianisme / Studies in the Intercultural History of Christianity

The series “Studies in the Intercultural History of Christianity” operates in an area that includes the disciplines of missiology, history of religions, ecumenics and intercultural theology. Using historical, socio-cultural and theoretical approaches it addresses the question of the identity of local and global Christianity. This is done in the light of the continuing transformations (e.g. technology, globalization, migration, ecology) and the living together of people of different faiths and persuasions in the human community.

  • Natur, Wissenschaft und die Künste / Nature, Science and the Arts / Nature, Science et les Arts

    ISSN: 1663-6007

Nature, Science and the Arts is an international scholarly series dealing with the history of cultural interplay between arts, humanities, natural sciences and technology, both on the level of theoretical reflection and in artistic enunciations. It is not restricted to any particular epoch, society, medium or region. By publishing contributions to this new interdisciplinary research area, the series illuminates the traditional connection between two ways of interpreting the world, a connection that has been largely marginalized since Wilhelm Dilthey’s strict dissociation between humanities and natural sciences.
