Im Bereich der Geschichtswissenschaft publiziert die Reihe “Neue Forschungen zur ostmittel- und südosteuropäischen Geschichte“ Monographien und Sammelbände zur Kulturpolitik insbesondere Österreich-Ungarns. Die Forschungsschwerpunkte der Herausgeber der Reihe, Professor Harald Heppner und Ulrike Tischler-Hofer, liegen auf Historiographie, allgemeinen Strukturfragen und Geschichtskultur sowie Kulturpolitik, transnationalen Beziehungen und Interkulturalität.

Welten Süd- und Zentralasiens / Worlds of South and Inner Asia / Mondes de l'Asie du Sud et de l'Asie centrale

The aim of the series Worlds of South and Inner Asia of the Swiss Asia Society is to publish highquality, representative work issuing from academic research on all aspects of South and Inner Asia. It comprises, and accepts, studies on historical and present-day South and Inner Asian cultures and societies covering the fields of history, literature, thought, politics and art as well as translations and interpretations of important primary sources. Furthermore the series intends to present studies that offer expert knowledge on current themes appealing not only to the aca demic public, but also to an audience generally interested in South and Inner Asia. One important goal of the series is to establish a forum for academic work in the fields of the humanities and social sciences in Switzerland. However, the series is also committed to the rich variety of studies and writings in the international research community. The main publication languages for monographs and collections (by individual or several contributors) are German, French, and English. The series is supervised and internally reviewed by an editorial board which is advised by leading scholars in the academic fields concerned. La collection Mondes de l'Asie du Sud et de l'Asie centrale, publiée sous l'égide de la Société Suisse - Asie, accueille des études représentatives et de haute qualité sur l'Asie du Sud et l'Asie centrale. Elle propose aussi bien des études portant sur les cultures et sociétés du présent et du passé - que ce soit dans les domaines de l'histoire, de la littérature, de la philosophie, de la politique et de l'art - que des traductions et des travaux d'interprétation de sources importantes. Elle entend également publier des recherches sur des thèmes centraux et d'actualité qui s'adressent à un public plus large. La collection se veut être un point de rencontre de la recherche suisse dans le domaine des études de l'Asie du Sud et de l'Asie centrale, mais est aussi ouverte à des travaux issus de la communauté scientifi que internationale. Elle accueille des monographies et des ouvrages collectifs, rédigés en allemand, français ou anglais. La collection est dirigée par un comité de rédaction avec l'appui de chercheurs reconnus dans les diverses disciplines concernées. In der Reihe Welten Süd- und Zentralasiens der Schweizerischen Asiengesellschaft werden repräsentative, qualitativ hochstehende Forschungsarbeiten zu den Kulturen und Gesellschaf ten Süd- und Zentralasiens in Vergangenheit und Gegenwart publiziert. Die Reihe nimmt Studien zu verschiedenen Bereichen wie Geschichte, Literatur, Philosophie, Politik und Kunst sowie Übersetzungen und Interpretationen von Quellentexten auf. Sie will aber auch Arbeiten zu aktuellen Themen und Fragen anbieten, die neben einem wissenschaftlichen Zielpublikum einer breiter interessierten Leserschaft zugänglich sind. Die Reihe versteht sich als Forum für geistes- und sozialwissenschaftliche Arbeiten aus der Schweiz, ist aber auch offen für Beiträge aus der internationalen Forschung. Die Hauptpublikationssprachen für die Monographien und Sammelbände sind Deutsch, Französisch und Englisch. Die Reihe wird von einem Herausgebergremium geleitet, das von führenden Fachvertreterinnen und Fachvertretern aus den jeweiligen akademischen Disziplinen beraten wird.

Die Reihe Studies on Language and Culture in Central and Eastern Europe bietet ein Forum für mittel-, ost- und südosteuropabezogene Forschung zu Gegenwartsthemen ebenso wie in historischer Perspektive und bezieht hierbei einen slawistischen Schwerpunkt. Die Monographien, Sammel- und Tagungsbände der Reihe adressieren die Schnittstelle von Sprach- und Kulturwissenschaft. Hieraus ergeben sich zahlreiche Profilthemen wie z. B. Sprachkontakt, Gender Studies, Minderheiten- und Grenzforschung.

Issues in Systematic Theology

This series emphasizes issues in contemporary systematic theology but is open to theological issues from the past. Works in this series seek to explore such issues as the relation of reason and revelation, experience and doctrine, the meaning of revelation, method in theology, Trinitarian Theology, the doctrine of God, Christology, sacraments and the Church. Of course other issues such as ecumenical relations or specific doctrinal studies on topics such as predestination or studies evaluating particular influential theologians may be considered. Authors whose work is critical, constructive, and ecumenical are encouraged to consider this series. One of the aims of this series is to illustrate that Christian systematic theologians from different denominations may seek and find Christian unity through dialogue on those central issues that unite them in their quest for truth. Die Editionsreihe "Publikationen der Schweizerischen Musikforschenden Gesellschaft. Serie II" stellt ein zentrales Podium für die musikwissenschaftliche Forschung in der Schweiz dar und widmet sich in erster Linie Themen mit inhaltlichem Bezug zur Schweiz. Sie umfasst sowohl grössere Einzelstudien als auch Festschriften und Kongressberichte und offenbart die schweizerische Kulturgeschichte in ihrer gesamten Bandbreite.

The series Language and Text Studies publishes works of a broad range of research on aspects of language and text, including English, French, German, Slavonic and Baltic studies. Although its central perspective is linguistic in nature, publications also encompass literary and cultural studies. The series comprises monographs as well as anthologies. The editors Alexander Brock and Daniela Pietrini are linguists at the English and French + Italian Departments of Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. La collection Recherches linguistiques et textuelles publie des travaux relevant de la philologie des langues modernes (allemand, anglais, langues baltes et slaves, langues romanes) dans une optique linguistique. Elle s'adresse également aux travaux de recherches littéraires et interdisciplinaires portant sur l'analyse textuelle. Elle publie des monographies, mémoires de recherche, recueils thématiques et actes de colloques. Les éditeurs Alexander Brock et Daniela Pietrini sont des linguistes spécialisés aux langues anglaise et romanes, travaillants à l'université Martin-Luther de Halle-Wittenberg. In der Reihe Hallesche Sprach- und Textforschung erscheinen Studien aus dem Bereich moderner Philologien (u.a. Anglistik, Baltistik, Germanistik, Romanistik, Slavistik) mit meist linguistischem Schwerpunkt. Sie ist auch offen für literaturwissenschaftlich-textbezogene und interdisziplinäre Arbeiten.
