Additionally, it aims to scrutinize aspects such as interaction, control, and transformation, and to carry out a memory study that can serve as a source for further research in this field.

Biographical notes

Begüm Aylin Önder (Volume editor) Deniz Yengin (Volume editor)

Begüm Aylin Önder has extensive experience in design, including stints at HaberTurk and Al Jazeera Tv. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, a Master’s degree in Communication Design and a PhD/Proficiency in Art degree in Graphic Design. Associate Professor Önder, has been teaching at various universities and has been working as the Head of Visual Communication Design Department and Vice Dean of Faculty of Communication at Istanbul Arel University since 2022. Önder, who has many published articles and books, has actively participated in national and international exhibitions. Önder has also curated exhibitions. Assoc. Prof. Önder’s research interests include interaction design, artificial intelligence, semiotics, visual culture and new media. Deniz Yengin graduated in Economics and completed his master’s degree in Communication Design and doctoral education in Informatics. He is a lecturer at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, specializing in New Media and Communication. Yengin’s research focuses on Research Methods, Information Society, Virtual Reality, and Digital Games. He has authored several books and previously served as Dean of Istanbul Aydın University’s Faculty of Communication. Currently, he heads the Department of New Media and Communication at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University.
