Biographical notes

R.C. Jamieson (Author)

The Author: R. C. Jamieson is Keeper of Sanskrit Manuscripts at the University of Cambridge, a member of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, and a member of King’s College. Before Cambridge he taught Buddhism in the Study of Religion Department at the University of Leicester. His postgraduate studies were with David Snellgrove at the University of London. Dr. Jamieson’s illustrated book on two early illustrated Sanskrit manuscripts, The Perfection of Wisdom (with a preface by the Dalai Lama), is forthcoming.
