Biographical notes

Ksenia V. Muratova (Author) Mary Elizabeth Theis (Author) Andrew Felkay (Author)

The Authors: Ksenia V. Muratova, candidate of science, has published over a dozen articles on Russian philology and rhetoric and teaches Russian as a foreign language at the Diplomatic Academy in Moscow. Mary E. Theis, an assistant professor of Russian and French, and Andrew Felkay, Professor of Russian Studies offer degrees in Russian at Kutztown University, Kutztown, Pennsylvania and each summer lead groups to Russia to study Russian language and culture. Dr. Thies has authored Mothers and Masters in Twentieth-Century Utopian and Anti-Utopian Literature. Dr. Felkay has authored Hungary and the USSR, 1956-1988: Kadar's Political Leadership and numerous articles on Russia and Eastern Europe. Both have presented many scholarly papers at regional, national, and international conferences.
