Biographical notes

Rodney J. Payton (Author)

The Author: Rodney Payton is Professor of Liberal Studies, Western Washington University. He has an M.A. in history of music from Washington State University and a Ph.D. in history of culture from the University of Chicago. He has contributed papers on the history of art and music, historiography and literary criticism. With Ulrich Mammitzsch, he has prepared a new translation of Johan Huizinga's Autumn of the Middle Ages which is forthcoming.
